11月12日晚，彝良县公安局交警大队在道路上开展日常检查，20时53分许，曾某驾驶号牌为云C71**C的正三轮载货摩托车“慢慢悠悠”朝着查缉卡点驶来。隔着几米，执勤交警就闻到一股刺鼻的酒味，立即示意驾驶人靠边停车接受检查，要求其出示驾驶证和行驶证，并进行呼气式酒精检测。检测结果显示为53mg/100ml，该驾驶人涉嫌饮酒后驾驶机动车。
